Terms of Service

PatchReply at patchreply.com is a project of NMajor Studios LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“PatchReply,” “we,” “us”). By using PatchReply or creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. What PatchReply provides

PatchReply is a visual review tool for websites and web apps. The PatchReply Chrome extension lets you leave typed or voice Notes and Text edits on pages you review, with screenshots and location details, and export a Review report, JSON, or Agent prompt. Capturing and exporting reviews works without an account.

A free PatchReply account lets you publish a public link to a Review report. Paid team features are not available yet.

2. Public links

• Anyone who has a public link can read the report and its screenshots, and can copy or forward them. An unguessable address is not access control. Treat every public link as public.
• A public link lasts 30 days from when you publish or renew it. After it expires, we keep it for 7 days so you can renew it, then delete it. You can delete a link at any time.
• You can have up to 30 active public links, and each report can be up to 10 MB. We may change these limits.
• Public links ask search engines not to index them, but that is a request, not a guarantee.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, screenshots, and other material you publish (“Your Content”). You give us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content only to operate the service, protect it, provide support, and comply with law.

Only publish content you have the right to share. Don’t publish passwords, API keys, personal data of others without authority, confidential business information, or screenshots of private pages you aren’t allowed to disclose. Review every report before you publish it.

4. Accounts

You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the law says otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use PatchReply to:

• break the law or violate anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights;
• publish malware, illegal content, harassment, or content that endangers others;
• probe, overload, scrape, or get around security, rate limits, or usage limits;
• impersonate someone or misrepresent your affiliation; or
• resell or copy a substantial part of the service without permission.

We may remove public links, limit, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect people, comply with law, or respond to a material breach. You can report a public link using the “Report abuse” link on it or our contact form. A report alone does not remove content; we review it.

6. The homepage voice demo

The voice demo on our homepage sends your short recording to our transcription provider and returns the text. We don’t store the recording or the transcript. Daily limits apply.

7. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors keep all rights in the PatchReply software, design, branding, and documentation. These terms don’t transfer those rights to you.

8. Changes and availability

PatchReply is under active development. Features may change or be discontinued, and we don’t promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings after confirming by email. Deleting your account stops all your public links immediately and deletes them from our storage. Reviews saved in the extension stay on your device until you remove them.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, PatchReply is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing here removes a consumer right the law doesn’t allow us to waive.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising from PatchReply will not exceed USD $100.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes. If you don’t agree to an update, stop using the service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t take away any mandatory consumer protection where you live.
